The Organization

Internal Medicine Consultants, LLC (IMC) was originally founded in 2001 as a Sole Proprietorship medical practice by Ricardo Febry, MD, an internal medicine-trained specialist with over 19 years of experience providing services across multiple levels-of-care that include preventive, emergency, critical care, long-term care and end-of-life care medicine.

Today, IMC serves in Louisiana as a provider of hospitalist, long-term care, and on-demand web-based consultation services. Our service footprint includes more than 10 locations, including 1 acute, 1 long-term care hospital, 7 self-standing skilled nursing facilities, 3 Assisted Living Facilities, and multiple private residences with a combined capacity of more than 1,000 beds. Our full-time staff includes four Internal Medicine specialists, two advance practice nurses and other support staff.
